The Ankeny Art Center is issuing a call for entries for Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) for an exhibit which opens June 17. ATCs are mixed-media works of art that measure 2½” x 3 ½”.

 Awards will be given for Best of Show, Humor, Use of Fabric and Age 18 & under category. All entries will be included in the exhibit.

Art Buzz is now accepting entries for inclusion into the premier visual arts showcase, hardcover publication, Art Buzz, The 2009 Collection. The competition is open to visual artists, worldwide, who work in any visual art media (must be 18 or older). Art Buzz, the book, is a full color, square format, hardcover "coffee table" type publication that is scheduled for release in late January 2009, with a vigorous distribution and marketing plan.
